We have worked with Morgan Sindall Construction on other projects and were delighted to provide our new system scaffolding offer for recent repair and refurbishment projects in London’s East End.
At Ennerdale House, a multi-storey block of flats, we used PERI Formwork system scaffolding to provide access to a height of 62 metres, which we were able to erect in just a week. Although there were no specific challenges in terms of the building or access, the project required a hoist, which we installed alongside the scaffolding. Once the scaffolding was in place, the client worked on the building’s boiler room, situated on the roof, and some roof repairs. We then lowered the scaffolding for some additional repairs at a lower height.
The client was delighted with the system scaffolding, which they thought was cost effective, time-saving and also looked neat and tidy from the residents’ point of view.
For the project in Chingford, we also suggested system scaffold, which was the quickest way to erect the scaffolding needed for external decoration to a block of low-rise flats. Again, we had excellent feedback from the client, who knew that the system scaffolding would be quick to erect and remove, reducing disruption to residents in the buildings and the surrounding area.
