Client: Foulis Terrace

Contractor: Michael Brady Ltd

Site: Foulis Terrace

Duration: 40 weeks

Scope of Works:

The planning and setting out of this project were not without its challenges. However, with our long standing and close relationship with Michael Brady Limited we were able to adapt and overcome the small area we had for base out on this very charactered building.

We set out towers within the lightwell area with a bridged gantry to the kerb line to allow for storage and access of materials. An independent scaffold was then erected to the front façade of the building to give access to each floor level. The rear façade of this building was erected around multiple lower-level extensions that were then bridged over to allow works to be completed above. Beamed bridges were then installed to the side elevations to allow for works to the chimney stacks.

From there a temporary roof was erected to keep the building watertight during roof renewal works. This was nicely finished off with a very smart branded shrink wrap.

Hoists were supplied on this project to give ease to hoisting materials as a solution to the safety and control of manual handling.

It is always a pleasure to work with Michael Brady Limited.
